Sport Diver magazine, the world’s largest circulation dive publication, is looking for an exceptional, very Web savvy editor/writer/manager for a multi-faceted position. This person will be someone with proven, strong and creative Web management and growth skills, preferably in a niche market environment.

The perfect candidate will be able to formulate and execute a dynamic Web-specific content plan for sportdiver.com, in support of both the magazine and the Web community. The candidate will be resposibile for a substantial increase in both the Web-traffic and community involvement. The position will report to our On-line Director.

Additionally, this person will serve as an Editor for the Undersea Journal, (will be the same person as the Online Director of sportdiver.com) the 4X publication published by PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. This position will execute the current edit plan and work with the Editorial Director in formulating and creating an on-going, dynamic Edit Plan. The position will liaise with key Editorial personnel at PADI to execute an edit plan, with writers coming from both within the global family of PADI professionals and expert, freelance contributors. This person must be exceptionally organized who will be in charge of executing the editorial package to the highest possible standards. A candidate with a passion for scuba diving would be preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong edit background. Position will report to Editorial Director.

This candidate will also work on Sport Diver magazine in a Sr. Editor level position as needed.
