Aqua Cat Cruises in currently accepting applications from enthusiastic and hard-working applicants for jobs on our scuba diving liveaboards. We are currently taking applications for chefs, dive instructors and engineers. All applicants must speak fluent English. Other languages are a plus.
As a key staff member, the Senior Editor will ensure the editorial calendar, mission and voice are executed to the highest possible standards for the newly re-positioned Scuba Diving magazine, as well as the industry trade Undersea Journal.
Requirements
A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is required. A Masters Degree is preferred. Previous experience in underwater inspection of transportation projects (bridges), dams, and other marine structures is strongly preferred, but not required. Experience managing construction materials projects is also required. A P.E and diving certification are required,preferably from an accredited commercial diving school or equivalent military . Those candidates with advanced diving certifications may also be considered. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and a demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports are required. You must have a valid drivers license.

As a Snorkeling Tour Guide you will be responsible for giving snorkeling instructions, issuing equipment and assisting with donning of equipment. You will also provide safety briefings and guided marine life tours while caring for our guests in the water. Equipment maintenance before and after the tour is also part of the responsibilities.
